Job Description
We’re seeking an Analyst, Media Insights & Analytics to partner closely with the Director, Media Insights & Analytics to ensure customers are receiving, internalizing, and capitalizing on insights generated by Slingwave’s analytics platform. In this role, you will deliver actionable insights using Slingwave’s Agile Marketing Attribution and Predictive Marketing Mix capabilities; prepare polished, customer-ready deliverables for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings; translate complex model outputs into clear, strategic recommendations that drive media optimization; collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Media Operations, and Data & Analytics teams; and help customers better understand performance drivers, testing outcomes, and optimization opportunities. This is a highly collaborative, client-impact role ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build deep expertise in marketing analytics and performance measurement within a fast-growing, AI-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Insight-Driven Reporting: Prepare and refine attribution and predictive modeling deliverables. Ensure all reports are accurate, insightful, and customer-ready. Surface optimization opportunities and performance drivers.
Translate Analytics into Action: Articulate statistical model outputs and testing results in marketer-friendly language. Support the calculation and explanation of KPIs including incremental ROAS, CAC, CVR, reach, and frequency. Help clients and internal teams understand testing frameworks such as A/B experimentation.
Leverage BI & Visualization Tools: Develop and enhance dashboards using platforms such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Sisense, Domo, PowerBI, or similar tools. Manage complex reporting deliverables within Slingwave’s analytics ecosystem. Continuously improve visual storytelling and reporting clarity.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner proactively with Account Management, Media Operations, and Data & Analytics teams. Share insights that improve campaign effectiveness and performance diagnosis. Contribute to cross-functional alignment around optimization strategy.
Operate in a Startup Environment: Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting. Balance both strategic and operational responsibilities. Maintain strong organization and disciplined project management.
Required Skills
Professional Experience: Bring 1–2 years of professional experience with exposure to media, marketing analytics, or performance reporting. Demonstrate experience developing and presenting analytical insight reports.
Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, business, or marketing discipline. Possess foundational knowledge of marketing measurement concepts.
Technical Proficiency: Have familiarity with at least one programming language such as R, Python, or SQL. Demonstrate experience with spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets or Excel. Bring exposure to BI and visualization platforms including Google Data Studio, Tableau, Sisense, Domo, PowerBI, Datorama, or similar tools.
Data-Driven Mindset: Find stories in data and ask thoughtful, strategic questions. Translate statistical findings into clear business implications. Understand campaign metrics, incremental measurement, and structured testing concepts.
Analytical Depth: Be willing to roll up your sleeves and dive into the “guts” of a report when needed. Support KPI calculations including incremental ROAS, CAC, CVR, reach, and frequency. Demonstrate curiosity about attribution and predictive modeling methodologies.
Agility & Project Management: Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Manage competing priorities and client demands effectively. Demonstrate strong organization and project management discipline; experience with project management or ticketing systems is a plus.
