Associate Director, Insights & Customer Success

Job Description

We're seeking an Associate Director, Insights & Customer Success to own customer onboarding, drive platform adoption, and ensure our customers extract maximum value from Slingwave's analytics suite. This is a highly client-facing role where you'll partner directly with senior marketers, finance leaders, and analytics teams at top brands, turning advanced models into operational strategies that drive measurable results. In this role, you'll lead the end-to-end onboarding experience, develop strategic adoption plans for each customer, and serve as their trusted advisor throughout their journey with Slingwave. You'll translate complex technical capabilities into business outcomes and ensure customers are actively using our platforms to inform their marketing decisions. This position requires someone who can engage confidently with C-suite and senior executives, understand technical architecture well enough to guide implementation, and build lasting relationships that drive sustained platform usage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Customer Onboarding: Lead the complete onboarding lifecycle for new customers across Slingwave's analytics platforms, developing customized implementation plans that ensure rapid time-to-value and deep platform adoption.

  • Develop Strategic Adoption Plans: Create comprehensive adoption roadmaps for each customer, mapping their business objectives to platform capabilities and defining clear milestones that drive sustained usage.

  • Drive Platform Utilization: Ensure customers are actively using Slingwave's product suite in their day-to-day marketing, finance, and media decisions–building the processes, training, and ongoing support that cement platform adoption.

  • Lead Executive Engagement: Partner directly with CMOs, VPs of Marketing and their teams, and senior analytics leaders to translate platform insights into strategic business decisions and demonstrate ongoing value.

  • Deliver Insights That Drive Action: Transform Slingwave's Agile Attribution and MMM+ outputs into clear, actionable strategies that senior stakeholders can immediately operationalize.

  • Conduct Training & Enablement: Lead hands-on training sessions and workshops for customers at all levels, ensuring teams are confident and capable users of Slingwave's platforms.

  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Implementation: Work with internal engineering and analytics teams to ensure smooth technical implementation while maintaining focus on customer needs and timelines.

  • Monitor Adoption & Identify Expansion: Track customer usage patterns, identify opportunities for deeper adoption, and proactively address any barriers to platform utilization.

  • Act as Trusted Advisor: Build lasting relationships with customers, serving as their go-to resource for maximizing value from Slingwave's analytics capabilities.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in customer success, insights delivery, marketing analytics, or consulting roles (media measurement or attribution experience strongly preferred).

  • Executive presence: Proven ability to engage confidently with C-suite and senior stakeholders, presenting complex analytics in ways that drive strategic decision-making.

  • Onboarding & adoption expertise: Track record of successfully onboarding customers to SaaS or analytics platforms and driving sustained, active usage over time.

  • Strategic planning capabilities: Ability to develop customized adoption roadmaps that align platform capabilities with customer business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Technical fluency: Comfortable understanding technical architecture, data pipelines, and analytics methodologies. Familiarity with R, Python, SQL, and cloud-based analytics environments (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) is a plus–you don't need to code, but you need to speak the language.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Experience coordinating with engineering, analytics, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation while keeping customer needs front and center.

  • Deep understanding of attribution and measurement: Strong knowledge of attribution models, experimentation frameworks, and predictive modeling approaches–with ability to explain these concepts to diverse audiences this includes 

  • Ad Platforms experience- experience with Google/YouTube, Meta, Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify attribution data.  

  • Relationship building: Natural ability to build trust and lasting relationships with customers, becoming their go-to advisor for analytics and measurement strategy.

  • Training & enablement skills: Experience designing and delivering effective training programs that drive user confidence and platform adoption.

  • Exceptional communication skills: Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives for marketing, finance, and executive audiences.

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

Position Details

Location: Remote / Hybrid (U.S.-based) – preference for New York Metro Area, Minnesota / Greater Twin Cities Metro Area, Bay Area, or Los Angeles, but can be any US location
